Leaf springs on a 5th wheel
Does anyone know how many should be on a coach with a GVWR of 12,500....or 14,500 lbs?
How many per wheel or is it not that important?
RE: 54 footer
That is a big one; but the Venetian suite is 63' and seeing it up close and personal is awesome.

RE: Leveling the nose
I'm not sure what you have tried but try this:
Reconnect the trailer to truck so that you can take the weight off the front legs. Pull the pin on both front legs and push the inside(with holes)portion as far up as it will go and pin it there. Now use the switch and extend the legs down as far as necessary to unhitch the trailer. This should give you enough travel to now drop it down to a level position.
I agree 100% That IS the proper way to level front to back under those circumstances.
RE: 2008 Carriage Domani -- Big Disappointment!
The Domani is not a cheap trailer but rather a fairly expensive "departure from the norm" design by Carriage that trades on a modernisitic monochrome approach to interior design and charges more per sq/ft for the package compared to other trailers with similar size floorplans. The poster has every right to post his experience without someone intimating he may be "too picky"! I don't understand that at all, if anything the reverse is true. In my opinion only, the North American consumer has not kept his expectations high enough which has allowed for chinese******and shoddy workmanship to flourish in the marketplace.
Would we accept leaky windows in a new Lexus sedan for the same money spent? Would we accept the guy jacking up our new Lexus bending the frame in the process? Why is it considered "being too picky" to complain about these and other items of failure? I just don't get it, but have noticed this type of response before, particularly from owners of the same brand of trailer being complained about.
United we stand, devided we take what we get!
WELL SAID!
RE: Any Sunnybrook Titan 5th-Wheel Owners Tire Replacement
My Everest came with the 235-80 /16 tires and we went with the XPS which are a little bigger and no problems whatsoever. Actually best move I've made since we got into 5th wheeling.
RE: how do I make the yellow go away
I use Max Clean by Cyclo for yellowing moldings and trim and it works great!
Keystone factory gave me some to try and it's very good.

RE: 6 feet of water in the Mobile Suite
Seeing how there was advanced warning that this thing was coming: Why did ya's leave it instead of driving it away? It has wheels ; no?
RE: Crime Report in Michigan Campgounds... !!!
That report sounds like Inside Edition....bunch of hype about a few incidents. "at one campground; one child was confronted with a knife by another child"????? Give me a break.
That "report" is a stretch at best.
No doubt; there are probably a few cretins out there....but those type are EVERYWHERE.
:h
RE: Don' t you hate those annoying black streaks!!??
I've noticed a marked improvement when cleaning the roof I also clean the gutters.... a whole lot of garbage builds up in them and makes the blackstreaks return much quicker.
RE: Biggest 5er I have seen
Had a look at the Venetian Suites 5ver on 20 last Sunday. It is huge! There were 2 others locked inside the gates as the business was not open when we stopped.
Here's the link to their website; CLICK HERE
RE: What Are You Doing in My Campsite? - Long Post
What makes it even more bizarre is there were EOC owners sitting under their awnings and the Jayco folks walked right on through without even saying boo!
There was about 15' between coaches so I guess it must be okay.
